Hello, and welcome to my new and updated blog, Living Lovely. Some of you may know I had a previous blog that was seriously neglected for the past year. That neglect was for some amazing reasons, and let me tell you why.
October 19th, 2016 my amazing boyfriend of 2 years chose to propose to me on our anniversary! I honest to goodness did not expect it, and it was one of the best days of my life. After that I tried desperately to continue to juggle my new job as wedding planner, my day job, friends, family, holidays AND my blog… that was hard. As much as I love blogging I knew that other things needed to come first, and I also really just wanted to take this special time and soak up every inch of it without the thought of filters, lighting, and perfect captions. And soak it up I did!
On September 9th, 2017, I walked down the aisle and said “I Do” to the man God made and chose for me. We were surrounded by so much love, faith, and support. I would absolutely live that day 1000x over again if I could. All the planning and hard work was worth it. Absolute perfection.
Now that our day has passed, my brain is no longer constantly consumed with dresses, cupcakes, color schemes, craft projects and Pinterest boards; it feels like the perfect time to start blogging again. I can’t wait to share all the adventures of the past year as well as all of the things to come in my newlywed life. I will be posting wedding posts every Wednesday, because I have so much to share!
I want Living Lovely to be a place where I can share the things that I find that make my life quality better (while on a budget). It is my opinion that you can live your best and most amazing life while still being able to pay rent and bills and all the other things that come way before the “extras” (Yay food and electricity). I want to share (and learn from others) the best ways to live a balanced, healthy, and lovely life. That includes style, home décor, relationships, health, and faith.
What are some things you would like to see on this blog? Please share ideas with me in the comments below. It feels amazing to be back!
